Who is responsible

Hypozo (hypozo.nl) is run by Saeid Ben Amar, Amsterdam (the Netherlands), who is responsible for the processing of data on this site. Send questions or requests about your data through the contact form.

1. What stays in your browser

The calculators run entirely in your own browser. The amounts you enter are not sent to our server.

  • Your last inputs and the calculator you last used are kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage), so you can carry on later.
  • That data stays on your device only. The Clear button in the calculator, or clearing your browser data, removes it.
  • We cannot see this data.

2. What our server records

When you visit, we record the following for statistics and security:

  • your IP address and the country and city that belong to it (looked up through the ip-api.com service), your browser and device type
  • which pages you view, which site referred you and roughly how long you stayed
  • if you use the contact form: your name, email address, subject, message and IP address, so we can reply to you

3. How long we keep data

We keep statistics and messages no longer than needed for the purpose they were collected for and delete old data regularly. Contact messages are kept until your question has been dealt with.

4. Ads, analytics and other parties

We do not sell personal data. The site shows ads from Google AdSense and may use Google Analytics. Visitors from the EEA are first asked for consent through a certified consent message; without consent you only get non-personalised ads. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your IP address. Google processes data under its own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie for the site to work and a cookie that remembers your choice in the cookie notice. Google may set its own cookies for ads and analytics, but only if you consent. You can always refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. Security and your rights

The site uses a secure HTTPS connection and only administrators can access the data on the server. You may ask us what data we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

7. Changes

We update this privacy statement when the site changes. The latest version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
